Brought PC within for repair, very soon I can't find where on earth this cord go..?
The cord is plugged into the monitor but I can't find where on earth the other end go. The only description I can provide is: at the other shutting down of the cord, it has a 1 inch cylinder around it.
I believe this is crucial for the monitor to turn on because when I turn the workstation on, the monitor stays black and a copper colour light is on by the on/off switch infront.
Any planning?
Answers:
You need to hook the monitor up to the Video Serial Port at the rear of the computer.
Look at the picture here at an analog (VGA) video port:

Or this picture where the video port is on a Video Card. Look at the where on earth the black round port is, the yellow port and consequently the blue Video Port: http://img.tfd.com/cde/_pcports.jpg...
Digital Video Ports look like this White one surrounded by the picture labled DVI : http://www.boundless.com/011-copy-003.gi...
look real close at the support of your pc,, within is only ONE place it will fit, and lone one WAY it will fit. just look a lil closer
