Answer:
Try a little Isopropol alcohol on a tabloid towel. Do not rub hard, and repeat as crucial.
It may remove some of the anti-glare coating on the LCD, but will be less annoying.
I'm not sure going on for the actual screen but fastener polish remover gets rid of it, I have to use it when my 2yr old son drew adjectives over my computer.
Replace the screen if it "bugs" you.
Eucalyptus grease removes marks made by marker from 99% of surfaces, I've had to use it on walls, window and furniture and it worked brilliantly.
Occasionally my laptop screen get dirty (dirty fingers when I was pressing my finger on the screen), sometime it does hamper your view to see on blind. My solution, the easiest way is to obtain a "Refresher Towel". Those are the ones that you get it from some restaurant to verbs your hands (grab couple of them for adjectives use). The best bet is to wrinkle that towel so it won't be too moisture when applied on your screen. After you've done that, catch a dry cotton terry towel to remove streaks. I have stack full of them (got it from 747 aircrafts after arrivals). Those refresher towels usually contains SD Alcohol 40, Octoxynol 9, fragrance, Benzalkonium Chloride. Always check to see what it contains past you apply it to any computer screen. It does stay verbs for while.
Best of Luck!
