Hi in that!
Your internet service provider would not be able to support you with this problem, because they singular deal near internet problems. Since your problem has zilch to do with the internet, Dell would be the place to phone up.
It sounds like you hold either a driver problem or a video card
anticlimax.
You could try this:
Right click on desktop background,
A significant box will appear with tab across the top
Click on settings tab,
use slide bar to reset resolution as desired.
click apply presently.
a smaller box will appear, that asks if this setting is OK,
click OK.
If it goes posterior to 640/480 try this.
Download the newest driver from Dell.
If that doesn't work you own a bad video card.
Hope this help.
Good suggestions above with regard to your drivers. It's easy and swift and cheap to find out if that's the problem and it only requires reinstalling.
If that doesn't work try seeing if your cable are loose and if your card is sitting in the socket firmly.
try this, (I don't know your display adapter driver)
Uninstall the display driver
reboot
reinstall a newer text (if available) or the same reworked copy
when finished reboot.
when the pc starts Xp will automatically adjust the resolution or simply go to display properties and adjust it yourself.
