Fix my Moniter?

I own an old moniter which are easily darker. All the settings are set for maximum brightness but it is still too overcast. Is there any process to fix it?

you could goto download.com and look up monitor go and get something that will software increase contrast brightness and stuff there is lots of software that will do this

Organic gasses hold gotten into the tube itself and are turning the signal darker-you need to degauss the tube if possible-if not,later you need to take a new monitor. Only adjectives gasses should be in the monitor.

Degauss but if it doesn't work it's too hoary

Degaussing is a magnetic issue. Toss the CRT and look within the dumpster for another one..
