Repairing DVDs that fade contained by and out?

don't know if I can do this but borrow them at library and usually cannot attitude them because of fading contained by and out

Are you playing them on a computer or on a DVD player, and do they connect through a VCR to a TV? If the latter, connect straight to the TV or you'll need an RF modulator.
