19" lcd flickering on low rez?

Your liven up rate should always be on 60Hz regardless if it flickers. perchance your game is playing at a highly developed or lower rez than the monitor can handle.
You should check you manufacture recommended settings
Anything else could have unpredictable results.
Get a Sony
I would check Mfr. specs for the fastest allowable herz for the monitor and turn it as dignified as possible.
It could be your graphics card does not support your older Low res games... My outmoded school atari program give my high-tech uber-computer fits...
