Looking for a graphics card that will run my 1680 x 1050 resolution monitor very well?

My computer have built in video, and I'm looking for a moral graphics card. I don't do any high shutting down gaming, and I'd really like to keep under surveillance HD tv though the computer. I've been looking at the ATI HD2600XT graphics card that are priced around $150. Thus far they're not in the lead any awards in gaming, but they come across to do HD graphics really well. I'm a short time ago not sure if I wanted to play a spectator sport with this graphics card if it could knob a 1680 x 1050 resolution monitor without too much trouble?

Answers:
The 2600XT is currently not the recommended card surrounded by it's price range. The Nvidia 8600GT offer better performance, requires a smaller number powerful power supply and has better drivers and software support than the 2600XT.
I own a 22" LCD running @ 1680x1050 and I hold 2 computers connected to this monitor (through a KVM switch) - my gaming computer that has a Nvidia 8800GTS KO (overclocked) and my server have an older Nvidia Ti4200. I do not hobby on my server and only use it to browse or run nouns tools, but it can definitely support that resolution.
