Can't catch Dell E772c monitor to stir beyond 16 bit color?

David,,the monitor doesn't control that.
It's the Video Card and it's Driver software.
Try updating the Video/Graphics Driver
You can almost other use "Generic Drivers" if you cant find any for your specific PC or Vid Card.
