Why does a computer monitor engineer strange noise even when switched stale?



Answer:
It's the cracking of the plastic due to temeprature change. Mine had it as all right (it's 6 years old). It dissapeared after I opened it and cleaned it from dust.

im sure ur talking more or less a regular, non-lcd monitor. they have cathode gleam tubes that shoot the elctrons and paint the picture on the screens phosphorous surface. when u shut stale te monitors, the crt halts the beam, and u hear the beams climax their bombardment on the screen.
Does it benign of make close to a popping or cracking noise? Mine does too, and every time I turn the monitor rotten, it sounds like static or something? I a short time ago think it's overworked and it's readjusting to individual off possibly.
