Emachine lend a hand?

i own an Emachine t2778. I turned it on and the light comes on and it starts to boot up customarily everything is fine with that but the blind does not turn on so i plugged it into anouther comp and the screen works can someone please inform me wat is wrong?

Answer:
Try a different monitor on the same computer. If it cuts out when window starts then it may be that your video card go bad.
