Like a couple of folks said already; degauss the monitor.
Look on the front panel and you should find a button or an option to degauss it - the eyeshade will kind of shake and hopefully it will be restored.
Using a magnet to verbs in the other direction DOES work, but it's a ending resort! BTW, if you have a set of speakers, hang on to the big box (I can't remember what it's called.. "subwoofer" maybe) away from the monitor because it will also create a really strong magnetic area - the little speakers are harmless though.
its gonna nouns a little crazy, but capture the magnet back out, ive have luck moving spots with the magnets.
whoa!! i.e. BAAAD!!
if your monitor has a Deguass aspect, then use it.
It should be on the Monitor
if it doesnt work, try this : lug the same magnet out, put it on the monitor but within the opposite direction. but look out though as it may do permanent sprain!
Time for a new monitor, within cheap so don't worry in the order of it.
take your monitor to hardware specialist
use degauss within your monitor menu.
