Computer monitors excluding LCD?
Looks approaching all the monitors are LCD very soon. Do they even sell non-LCD monitors at stores?
What I don't close to about typical LCD displays is that the blind gets too cloudy or bright depending on how you look at it. Are there LCDs that doesn't do that?

You better believe CRT monitors are still one sold. The display quality of LCDs still cannot compete near CRTs, though it's getting there.
The computer graphics industry still uses CRTs pretty much exclusively, as do some serious computer gamers.
However, since LCD are slowly getting to a point where on earth they can complete with CRTs contained by terms of level (as opposed to space or power usage, where on earth LCDs win flat out), some companies, Sony for one, have already discontinued their CRT lines.

I have a LCD and yes it does whay you articulate but for the most part it's fine for my use, I as a rule use the comptuer monitior looking at it directly not at an angle.

Not adjectives LCD's are the same, you involve to realize that.
Many have better viewing angles than others. In extra, there are several different LCD technology out there. Active Matrix LCD's are typically more expensive but are brighter and own wider viewing angles.
Like another person said, CRT monitors are the other picking. They are still sold everywhere today. Just walk into a BestBuy or CompUSA and you'll see them. They are still a bit cheaper than LCD per inch of diagonal peak space...

CRTs still hold some market value(though fast declining) because of their superior response times. However new LCDs enjoy response times no greater than 2ms, so the market segment will disappear soon satisfactory.

These are the only two kind of monitors nowadays. There are also plasma screen, but they are used as a TV/monitor rather than a standalone monitor.
