I have a similar problem some months back. It turned out to be some problem near the RAM unable to support the graphics display. Get your RAM checked out. Also check out your power supply part and make sure your graphics card is properly seated within its slot.

But the first thing to do is check that the problem lies beside the monitor or the PC. Do this by seeing if another monitor works - borrow one from a friend. If the borrowed monitor works then your monitor is the article that's busted. If the borrowed monitor doesn't work then the problem is something to do near your PC.

If your device manager (in My Computer) doesn't show that any device isn't working properly afterwards start replacing and checking parts. The best way to do this is by starting beside the simplest/cheapest:-

Checking that the RAM and video card are seated properly is relatively quick and cheap s do that first.
The power supply section is quite uncomplicated to replace so that comes next
Then it's the video card and the RAM (which you do first will depend on how much respectively is worth)

Hopefully the problem will get fixed earlier you end up re-building your together PC!
Get another monitor..been near done that!
check the power
try with a different peak
Hmmm.... to find out is your monitor having problem or your device drivers (software) is have problem, try boot into DOS mode, as it poses the minimum requirement to your monitor.

Then turn on and off, see is your monitor works or not.

If it work, next it is likely your device drivers for the monitor is have problem, try download the lastest the driver from the manufacturer and see it works or not.

If it still out of action, try update the graphic card drivers.
If this is a Dell GX270 near is a known error on the mother board. It is a problem with the capacitors. If so phone dell and they should replace it.
