My keybourd cord have a kink contained by it the cord can i in recent times turn rotten the computer and untangle it or will i hold?

If the baby grand works just untangle it!
don't even hold to turn it off ... only just unplug the keyboard and untangle the front then plug wager on in.
freshly unplug it and untange it it wont hurt
