Will a graphics card next to its own memory help yourself to system memory if needed?
In other words, would the cheap 64MB card be better than my intergrated graphics?
Thanks!
Answer:
No your graphics card memory and your system memory are completely different. For games most are run off the GPU and the increased memory will greatly remodel proformance. The main system memory will augment performance if say aloud you want to run a game and listen to music while chating and surfing the network.
No it wont take system memory, the integrated on probably does though.
U own to compare it feature by part and it depends on what u mean by cheap
if u place an agp card contained by your computer it will stop using your system ram.
word of support, instead of getting a 64 mb agp card, u will be better of getting at least a 128mb agp card, now u could get one for just about 40$ and the plus side is that these cards also have a gpu (graphics processing unit) so if u buy let say a geforces 5200 card, article that u are getting 128mb of ram and a 400 mhz processor contained by the card, and it will aslo have HT&L. as it is anything is better than the onboard graphics card.
