Have only bought a larger eyeshade p c monitor and since install boot up and browsering are gluepots...why?

Like the other soul said your graphic card may want a new driver or you stipulation a new graphics card completely.
That would explain why it's slow.

how big is the monitor? if it is bigger then 19"
you would inevitability some what okay video card to push the monitor.
i use nvidia 5700fx for my 19 wide blind.
I'm afraid I don't quite have a handle on what you're getting at here, so let me produce a guess..
Now you have a larger monitor, if you haven't changed the eyeshade resolution then icon etc. are gonna look bigger than they did.
Right-click on some free space on your desktop, and choose 'Properties'. Then select 'Settings' - here you will be able to adjust the resolution to appropriate advantage of your bigger monitor.
