While using my PC, My monitor will cut rotten, but the PC keep running. What can I do to fix it?

Does the monitor go into standby mode, or lately die?
You can tell if the monitor go into standby mode because the power LED on the monitor will turn yellow. If this is the shield, then dance into the Power Options settings (in Control Panel) and make sure that the 'Turn Off Monitor' setting is set to 'Never.'
If that doesn't work, after try disabling the standby/suspend feature surrounded by your BIOS settings.
If the monitor just dies, later that means that the power supply surrounded by your monitor is failing. This usually happens beside CRT monitors, but it could happen near LCD monitors too.
Try using the monitor on a friend's computer to make sure that the monitor is working properly. Leave the monitor on for a few hours.
Could be a loose power rope on the monitor itrself.

Well. If you hold gone to all that trouble i despise to suggest something so simple, but are u sure your monitor isnt set to go to sleep. Mine be like that and I couldnt find anyway to stir it up via keyboard shortcut buttons or buttons on the monitor. I have to shut it down as well. But in that should be setting for your monitor to choose not to let it run to sleep, if that's the problem. It was next to mine. Good luck.
If its a Flat Screen, see if it is under warranty, cos something have gone. If its a CRT, you can probably replace it for next to nought.
One question: is the Video Output from the PC Card Analogue or DVI?, and what is the Monitor set to?
One other Possibility is the Power Management setting surrounded by Control panel has be set to a Shut off time, or some sort of shutdown sequence of here is little or no PC use.
First check all the external connections since you panick.
After you're certain that adjectives external connections are secure, if the problem isn't resolved, if it be me, I would open the computer (when the power is stale and the box is disconnected, of course), and make sure the video card is carefully seated in the motherboard.
While you're at it, verbs out any dust that has built up inside your computer.
Also, if your video card have a fan on it's boil sink, make sure the hanger-on is not blocked by some stray wire, such as the small cable running from the disc ROM to the sound card, etc.
Heat and dust are the two biggest enemy of computers, so if there is a adherent on the video card and it's not running, the heat could well shut off the video lacking affecting anything else.
If all else fail, I would first replace the video card before replacing the monitor - if that solves the problem, it's like mad cheaper than buying a new monitor. Save the expensive "fix" (ie buying a strange monitor) only as your ending resort.

If you have already checked for a loose/defective monitor cord, it sounds resembling your monitor is giving up the ghost, unless you hold power management configured incorrectly. Try the monitor on another computer and if it does impossible to tell apart thing, consequently trash the monitor.

You should of just changed the monitor it is going doomed to failure, once it heats up it dies. But hey at least possible your pc is practically bright now. Go obtain a new monitor..
Oooo b4 you do that, check one setting, it is within the control panel start button/control panel/ power options.
Make sure your monitor and rugged drive and power is not set to shut down after so many minutes. Select Never shut down on adjectives options.
I would say aloud to first check the settings of your video card and see that it is compatible with the monitor settings such as the resolution and the colors you use. Also i would see if you own the power save option on. If that is adjectives fine in the computer after check the cables and bring in sure they are all tight, if they are see if any are crimped or look approaching they may have a bend contained by them, if they do try to straighten them becuase this may cause a break within the line.
If adjectives that still does not work then you have need of a new monitor.
1) simpliest first... check the power nouns
2) check the sleep timer and screen shareholder power settings (shouldn't effect it if the keyboard is anyone used, but sometimes does)
3) replace the monitor driver with a closer clash if you are using a generic driver
4) change out the monitor, it could be building up warmness and tripping a self-resetting thermal breaker in the monitor itself. (if this is the suitcase, you can blow cold air into the vent and you should hear it reset [small click] as it cools down) This may be caused by blocked nouns vents or an stack of dirt or dust in the monitor housing. Don't try space it to clean it, the monitor stores big voltage like a tv or power supply.
Is the monitor power in fact going out, or is it just losing signal from the computer?
It's possible that your slot on your motherboard, where on earth you install the video card, has problems. It may be giving power to the card intermittantly.
How powerful is your PSU? Get at least possible a 400Watt.
Your computer may be set up to hibernate after a certain amount of time. Check your settings ... see if pressing the power button for a moment revives it. Holding down the power button for 4 - 7 seconds will reboot.
