Electrical surge?

A few hours ago we have a pretty bad storm and I disappeared my computer on. The computer turned off on me. When I started it posterior up my monitor was green and purplish color down the gone side of my screen as if someone held a magnet up to it and screwed up adjectives the colors.

Is there any course to fix this or is my monitor done for?

My whole computer be on a top of the line surge protector.

It can be something else than monitor. It can be video card, or RAM. Purplish color its flowing to fix. Open OSD of your screen and choose DEGAUSS It will animate and will be OK

Your monitor is fried. If you can borrow another monitor, you can check if there be any damage done to your computer. Surge protectors are great against power surges, but nil can block a lightning strike. Good luck!
