There's pretty much nothing you can do almost that if it's an LCD. If it's a CRT TV or Monitor, then you can see if theres a degauss button (which flushes stored static electricity and clears the capacitors surrounded by it).
Use the same magnet... hold it close too the blind and start rotating in circles progressively larger as you be in motion! NOT TO FAST ...Eventually the screen will be demagnitized.except that
Purchase a degausing coil from an electronics supply store

the tv i think you pratty much screwed. unless close to some guy said before me look around tin the menu for a gausse button or something similar to that i'm not sure how it's spelled but if you see on hit it and it should fix it if no then your screwed and you should punish the kid and buy a modern tv and moniter
First try and use the degauss button on your monitor.
It might take a few tries but it should work. If that fail take it to a TV repair shop. They hold large degauss coils and should know how to demagnetize it.
