LCD monitor blinks/flashes?

Whenever i startup the comp, my monitor binks continuously. The street light which indicates ON/OFF also flickers. Ive to restart my comp repeatedly (about for 1/2hr), basically trial and error until the monitor is okay.

It started when i changed my internet nouns speed from 512k to 100Mbps. There isnt any loose connections i think. No interference any. How can i solve the problem?

how 'old' is yr monitor? maybe u wld similar to to do an auto adjust next time u on it, if cant distribute it for servicing already
mayb ur moniter plug is loose?
giving credit to the other poster, yes, perhaps your monitor plug is loose. If not, after you somehow revised the settings in the system and your resolution is very soon not right for the monitor.
