Pc power up and no video?

Is at hand any sounds from the pc (beep)?
what's you laptop specification? VGA, Motherboard, RAM?
try to follow this steps.
1. check your monitor, have you plug the cable to symbolic card, have you plug the power cable. if OK..
2. check your illustrative card
-already in honest position in motherboard
-check you BIOS setting, if you devolution the setting recently try to reset it. may be that's the problem.
3. if within any sounds (beep) from the PC, the posibillity are
-memory problems
-graphic cards problem.

Ok troubleshooting 101...try these in lay down
1. Check the monitor cable
2. Reseat or make sure the video card is seated properly this also includes trying another slot if at all possible
3. Try another video card
4. If it's a built in video chip can you draw from into the BIOS? It might be turned off contained by there
5. lug the motherboard out and place it on a non conducting surface and then try and boot up...the mb might be touching some metal within your case and to be precise what really is happening

Did you get any beep from the POST tests?
All the fan, hard drives and CDs will spin up as soon as the power supply comes up, that does not plan that the CPU is running.
No beeps mechanism that it almost definitely is not. Check that the CPU is seated properly. Check the memory, check adjectives the jumpers. Then check them adjectives again.
