What resolution is your computer monitor set at?

e.g.

800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
1280 x 768
1280 x 960
1280 x 1024

Do you use non-attendance font sizes for IE internet web page viewing?

Do you enjoy eyesight deterioration or problems that influence your choice, or not?

What type of screen please? Bulky outmoded type or flat screen spanking new type? (Use technical vocabulary if you know them.)

Answer:
Right now I am using a relatively feeble CRT that can only do 1024x768 at 85Hz. I would prefer 1280x1024, but it can't oversee a high adequate refresh rate.

I use the evasion font size in Firefox (no IE for me, thanks), and I don't own any vision problems related to my eyeshade.
i am using
1024 x 768
Yes
No
Bulky
1024 x 768. At 120 dpi. on a CRT monitor.
1280x1024 on a 17" lcd monitor
I use 1024x768 32bpp, default font size contained by IE & Firefox, no eyesight problems and Flatscreen monitor.
Both at home and work.
1280x1024

Yes, default font size.
No eye problems.
Viewsonic 20" LCD
1024 x 768
no I use Motzilla
yeah the eyes are on the approach out
Samsun 193v 19" flat screen LCD

But why are you interested are you doing a survey?
1024 768 WHY?
1024x768. I ponder most desktop users use this.
It's a good size, near a square aspect ratio.

I use larger size fonts and I wear corrective lenses (contact lenses) but larger fonts help when I've be staring at the screens for a long time.

I use 2 monitors. Both CRT.
Work System - 19" LCD running @ 1280x1024
Laptop - 15.4" Widescreen running @ 1280 x 800
Home System - 19" Widescreen LCD running @ 1366 x 768
LG 32" LCD TV running @ 1366 x 768 for Xbox 360.

All using failure to pay font size.

FYI - Running a CRT at a resolution above 72Hz doesn't do very much, not simply will it possibly cause hurt to the CRT the picture quality won't be any sharper. Also, shifting the resolution for an LCD screen to anything above 60Hz also doesn't do anything.
the resolution is 1152 x 864
i do use the defaulting font sizes
i do have a problem near my eyes but that doesnt influence my choice
and i have a 15" LCD
1280 x 1024 weak bulky screen
1280*1024 resolution

I use defaulting font sizes and typically sit 1.5 meters from the screen. I hold excelent (beter than 20/20) vision.

I hold a mitsubishi diamond digital dv175 lcd monitor, and it is like crystal.

BUT PLEASE DEVELOP FOR FIREFOX TOO! IE IS TERRIBLE
Hi,

At work I own a 17" LCD set to 1280 x 1024
At home I have a 19" CRT set to 1280 x 1024

I use failure to pay font setting in my internet browser (Mozilla, Opera and IE - sorry lots of network apps that don't run in some).

Due to resolution size I increase zoom surrounded by apps such as Word to anywhere between 125% and 150%.

I did computer engineering at uni and sit in front of a PC for 10+ hours everyday surrounded by work (just emphasising exposure to computer screens ;)), so to serve my eyes I do the following:
a) avoid desktop wallpaper with too much or too several bright colours - red eyes
b) turn the brightness control down to 29 - high brightness cause those red eyes
c) turn the contrast to 65 on LCD and 89 or 90 on CRT
d) increase the refresh rate above 70Hz as 60Hz on a CRT cause your eyes to tire.

Hopefully that answers your questions next to some valid reasons...
