Im debating on Dell Ultra Sharp 27" LCD monitor or an LCD TV.?

Samsung have a 27" TV 8ms grey to grey with a built within digital tuner. Where as the Dell (and all computer monitors) is lone a monitor. I would need to by a TV tuner card if i required to watch TV (which i really do not intend too). My with the sole purpose question is why would i not buy the LCD TV? what is the difference between LCD Monitor and LCD TV? I dont see much and since im a gamer and want clean clear crisp descriptions, i worry abit next to the LCDTV since it is not marketed directly for the computing world. Any input would back.

Answer:
Two differences.

1. LCD TV has built-in TV Tuner. Consequently, LCD TV have a port for TV signal (antenna/cable).
2. Typically LCD TV has bigger pixel pitch (more than 0.3mm) than LCD Monitor. But, some small size LCD TV have a pixel pitch less than 0.3mm.

LCD monitor is silly as LCD TV, since you always hold to turn your computer on to watch TV.

For serious gamer, I intuitively recommend BenQ FP241W.

for more information.

Typically LCD TV has bigger pixel pitch, you can't hold both world, say, winter sport and TV.
perhaps you should return with the LCD monitor if the LCD TV's costing too much. You can just obtain the tuner card, which probably doesn't cost too much compared to the LCD TV.
