Monitor have lines through it help out?

I own a ViewSonic Ultrabrite a90f+ monitor and it gets lines through it every presently and then, how do I fix this and whats cause it?

Answer:
Used to have impossible to tell apart problem, I took the monitor back to the place where on earth I purchased it and still didnt work, its the sign of a failing graphics card. Sorry I know thats expensive but honestly thats the only fix for it.

I tried everything first myself, I tried adjust the hardware refresh rate, the cord, the monitor itsself but its plainly a sign of a failing graphics card.
all viewsonics and sonys hold a thin strip on their monitors

One has 1 stripe, the other has 2 lines.. it have something to do with the tube sony and viewsonic use
