I hold tried all the usual things approaching changing display values but the xxx is still here. It is not an unusual thing because near is a website dedicated to try to remove it <pauls travel pictures> I enjoy tried to ask Dell but all i bring is the run around. Please if you have a Dell LCD monitor beside this problem answer this and we will try to pressure Dell to fix this. If you are a computer buff and can give any input, I thank you, hold the big boys in stripe! xxx John

Sounds like numb lock is jammed, try jitting Fn consequently G/L! this should fix it if not shift to dell site icons .
