I own a problem near a lcd monitor?

my dad told me he be at work and the power went out. immediately his lcd monitor doesn't work. when you turn it on you can see the everything for like a second and the rear legs light go off and you cant see anything. is here anyway it can be fixed?its a very nice monitor.

Maybe its blown a bulb or something: LCDs enjoy 2 fluorescent bulbs on either side of the peak to project light.

You'll own to take it to a repair shop - theres not a together lot you can do from the house.

Teach you not to use a Surge protector though, won't it?
After the lcd goes out the function key doesnt work anymore? If you can manage to access the menu of the LCD there's the DEGAUSS function. Try to use it or reset.
