Anyone know this in the region of LCD monitors?
My concern is that when looking from different angles, the brightness change (quite) and it's almost like I own to be at a straight angle to get a "normal" look. Is that middle-of-the-road for LCd's? or should I look into replacing this one with a sophisticated end? appreciation!

This is normal for an LCD.
There is a specification call 'viewing angle' which is allegedly the range of angles that you can outlook the screen at.
However, the definition for this is usually when you get hold of down to a contrast ratio of 10:1 or even 5:1, so it is pretty useless actually viewing at those angles.

The viewable area of an LCD monitor should be fairly high. Is near a anti-visibility film located on the LCD monitor? As for replacing it I would consider that personal pick.
