Sorry to provide you the bad communication, but you need a tentative monitor.
You have a CRT monitor and the blue gun have failed. It's cheaper to replace it than attain it mended.
Sounds like a graphics card problem, or you hold incorrect settings in your display managment. Try right clicking on your desktop and looking at the 'Display' tab - check your colour extent etc
Someone could have possibly shabby the monitor and its effecting the display image.
The same happen to me with my CRT and my ancient TFT monitor.
Sadly it sounds like its have its day.
within is nothing you can do.
With my TFT monitor, it kept turning pink and if I switched it sour for a while it would be ok but after half an hour it would be wager on to normal.
TIP- start looking on ebay for a dell TFT (flat screen) monitor because loads of poeple buy pc's dell.co.uk and you go and get a monitor included within the concordat and they stick it on ebay because it not needed.
