Why do I own shady streaks on my lcd monitor?
If you still didn't win what I mean, its close to when I'm putting a light colored wallpaper, and I'm first performance "My computer" window for example, the borders of this porthole, which are a little dark than the rest of the typically white window, will produce vertical lines -more shadows than lines, or lines of shadow- that appear resembling a continuation of the side vertical borders of the window.
What is the make happen of this problem? I'm using a 3-years old sony vaio laptop right in a minute. Is this a problem with the video card, the monitor, or is it something else?
Appreciate your support
Answer:
I'm not really sure I understand your description. But I can assume two things:
1. Since you said your laptop is 3 years dated, its probably LCD backlight starting to become faulty. LCD screen has a support layer that provide the wispy to illuminate the colors on the liquid crystal panel. I suppose you can draw from it replaced, although... may be a difficult find, if not, expensive.
2. There is a possibility give or take a few faulty or leak liquid crystal panel. Usually leak panel produce vertical lines. But these lines usually very striking, can be surrounded by one or combination or white, red, green, blue, or black, and will not respond or erroneously respond to graphical changes.
You can enjoy it checked up, of course.
Good luck

The monitor or display of a computer is the primary user interface. Monitor problems are some of the most common computer problems since the voltages inside a monitor can be as elevated as 10 KV. Many of the problems can be fixed yourself by simply changing the settings. Detailed instructions available at http://fixit.in/monitor.html
