Xbox to computer monitor?

alright, earlier anyone tells me to move about buy something, just want to utter i got some aud/vid inputs within the front and on my video card. I used windows movie inventor to select the composite video in the front of my workstation to start capturing video..it works, but wha ti want is a program that will allow me to lately VIew the composite video isntead of recording it, so i can play my xbox on it. any accepted wisdom? i know there be a program but i cant seem to remember it. iv done lots of googling, most of them foremost me to buy some audio/video inputs.

Your probably correct in assuming that you can do this next to your existing setup. Lacking any hardware detail except the composite inputs makes it difficult to dispense you a precise solution.
The fact that you can use the composite inputs to journal video confirms that the PC most likely have a capture card and conceivably a TV tuner inside. This narrows it down to roughly speaking 10 products that come preinstalled in a PC and integrate inputs on the overnight case. The card with the composite inputs should own an application to use this device.

If it is an ATI All In Wonder or similar then the fix is smooth. Start the application for the capture device afterwards make the output full peak. Do not hit the record function but revise the input selection to composite (I do this next to the ATI AIW), ans the screen will display doesn`t matter what compatible signal is on the composite RCA inputs.

The problem may change from no display to distorted display. This depends on the signal from the XBOX and the gamut of compatibility on the capture device.
