Monitor splitter problems?

ive splitt the 15 pin bad my pc next to a splitter , one goes to my 50 within. sony flatscreen, one goes to my 38in, plasma i use as a monitor.so i can examine pc tv contained by the living room or at my pc, or both
when i reboot or logon my plasma have what looks like static lines running across it any notion why

It is probably due to a grounding problem. These devices might not be on the same circuit. Experiment near a long extension cord to see if this fixes it.

Try checking all connections and making sure in attendance are no damaged pins and adjectives connections are secure. Also try varying up the splitter, switch the plasma to the sony and vice versa. If you have trouble on the other one in a minute it might be the splitter.
