Computer troubles?

whenever i hook my ipod up to my comp. the monitor go black. my ipod was messed up sooner. does my ipod messing up have anything to do near that?

Your computer may think that your Ipod is a monitor and accordingly shuts off the artistic. Do you have a graphics card that supports more than one monitor at a time? I presume that you are hooking up your Ipod through a USB port. Right click the blind and then select properties later select the monitor and the adapter card and verify the settings. You can also run diag's on these devices to insure that they are OK. If your adapter card supports more than one enable it to support both at alike time.
