Fujitsu-Siemens T19-2 Monitor Problem?

This problem merely appeared out of the blue, the monitor will come on and display but for only a split second in the past the screen go black. The monitor is still on (doesn't go to sleep). To receive it back you enjoy to switch it on and then sour again, but you only take a split second of display before it go off again. I've gone to fujitsu-siemens support website and within isn't such a thing as a driver for this monitor as it say that its plug and play.

It's not the computer as far as I can tell as I've tried another "plug and play" monitor and that works fine. I've also tried the T19-2 plugged into a laptop and tried extending the display across from the D-sub nouns on the laptop. I just obtain the same split second beforehand it goes black.

I'm thinking it can simply be a hardware failure inside the monitor that is cause it to cut out?? Can someone confirm this?
