Try turning the monitor stale then put money on on, slap the side of it gently or use the degauss facet, generally it doesnt be set to it is going to break jst something they do once in a while.
Also incase your not positive that it is coming from the monitor it most promising would be one of the fans surrounded by the computer case
It's making this nouns because it's trying to grow an arm and slap you because you don't know how to spell words correctly.
if its coming from the monitor i assume you have a ugg monitor, so do i, ugg as within big and bulgy, but just resembling the other dude said slap it and unplug it, it should reset it and stop the humming cus its probly the electricity going through the color tube making it go bzzzz or hmmmmm
CRT or LCD?
CRTs enjoy lots of magnetic components that can hum. Normally they are glue down to stop this. Maybe they came unstuck? Also they hum at harmonics of the horizontal scan frequency. If you own changed the resolution or refresh rate it will hold changed the humming. Maybe the harmonic frequencies were not audible in the past, but they are now.
LCDs do not hold as many enigmatic components, but the transformers on the inverter card (they up the voltage for the backlight) are known to hum sometimes.
Quiet humming usually is not a problem. Louder humming can be. If you hear something approaching frying bacon, turn it off and capture it replaced - something is arcing inside the monitor which is bad and going to carry worse.
