Why can't you computer genius aid me beside my menacing video?

Both video & photos are dull, but everything else isn't, so it's not my monitor. I know there have to be some setting that can make it brighter. I don't want to (nor be I able to numeral out the last suggested) include a program to fix this. If it's something like a driver setting, please convey me EXACTLY how to change it, I'm driver stupid. Thanks a bazillion contained by advance.

I havent see the other suggestions but I will give it a shot anyway.
Right click your mouse anywhere on the desktop but not over any deity...choose PROPERTIES...then when the display properties glass opens, click the SETTINGS tab. In this contemporary window, you should see a button on the lower right that say ADVANCED........this will open the video graphics tools that are pertinent to your pc's video driver. In this blind you should have option to set your GAMMA, BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST. If you are having a problem next to dark similes, I would suggest cranking up the gamma first, ...just a bit...consequently the brightness. You can open movies or pictures to see if you are thrilled with them, save, tweak them again until its just right.
by the agency, ....when videos and imagery become dark, it is a sign that your monitor is have issues. You may not notice it during everyday activity but if you plug a LCD monitor into your computer and see the difference, you will deduce what I am talking something like. I went through the exact same item......denial and all. I spent 2 years upping my GAMMA settings to compensate for a failing monitor.
Good luck and start in your favour.
