You can get one spanking new from Dell - they make moral monitors. LCDs start around $200 for a 17" and go up from in attendance. CRTs are moderately cheaper.

Any monitor will fit it, it doesn't own to be a Dell Monitor. You can buy a monitor at any computer store, many appliance stores, or online.

If you are trying to squirrel away money then I would recommend checking beside your workplace or school to see if they are getting rid of any matured monitors. Usually larger companies upgrade their systems as new technology is introduced and sometimes they even may be liable to give away at no charge to their body. So check with the IT department.

You didn't mention if you of late wanted a analogous black monitor? 17" CRT? ($89) or the 21st century LCD monitors, which are the best if you can afford them? (17" $159)
Most of these monitors were never even taken out of the box! The Dell technicians theory test these all thoroughly and provide them as refurbished.
