HD Monitor?

can any one recount me how can I know that my monitor support HD resolution, (my monitor is LG Flatron ez T710SH), and should the video card support the HD first? (my card is ATI Radeon 9200) . and if my monitor does not support HD, what the types that support HD?

Answer:
most modern moniters support HD resolutions but your card is extremely old, i would upgrade it, i apologize i could not find the specs for your exact moniter, but check your display properties and see if it will move about as high as 1280 by 1024 i.e. slightly better than 720 HDTV but not as good as 1080
Right click on a blank are of the desktop, select properties, and click the settings tab. Slide the resolution handrail to the right side and that is your resolution. Your monitor must also support that, which is why it automatically resets if you don't click ok. Anything above 1920 by 1080 is a lofty resolution HD (hence 1080i)
