Screen Resolution Problem?

I can simply change my resolution to 600x800, 1024x768, and 1336x 1336. I can transfer my resolution fine with my onboard, but not near EITHER of my 3d cards. (Tried both at different times) It will work properly every once in a while, but I cant find a stencil or anything.

Answer:
What video card do you have? What driver version are you using? Instead of using the manufacturer's drivers, I always recommend using the insinuation drivers from the chipset manufactuer. i.e. Nvidia or ATI. I find reference drivers to be more reliable.

Also, is your monitor installed properly or is of late installed as a default monitor? Your video card sends an EDID bit to your monitor and your monitor will recount your video card what resolutions it will support.
Drivers, go win 'em.

If that doesn't work, you might want to try sending them an email.
The problem is not from the monitor
you should set up your VGA card software or install the driver
if your VGA is no board install the motherboard software
