How do I connect a different monitor to a different tower? It keep recounting me no signal on the monitor why?

Ok first things first. Power down your computer unplug everything. Open the case. Make sure the video card is seated correctly. You can do this by removing it and placing it support in. If you do not want to remove it. Just endow with it a slight pull and push posterior in.
Reconnect everything. Try that.
If that does not work. One of two things are going on.
As said past, your vid card may have taken a dump.
Or you may want to look and see that you hold the monitor hooked to the video card, and not an onboard video that is disabled contained by the bios.
By onboard I mean one that is to say built into your motherboard. Usually this connector is located next to or to hand where you plug contained by your mouse and keyboard.
You want to plug this into a vid card, which should be down towards where on earth your expansion slots are.
