Comp problem?
Answer:
well to voice your computer is about 8yrs feeble boy what are you running windows 95/98
in good health to be fair here yes it could be the monitor on it's approach out.
Is it a tower case? or a desk top,
one article people come across to forget is that alot of dust accumulates inside a computer and is requests cleaning out at least once a year
dust can explanation static or make the components over warmth, so what I would do is take it out side filch the top off and (do not touch any parts inside) blow out the dust or return with a hover pipe and suck it out.
clear all the vent on the case too.... and try that for a couple of days see how it go
Merry Christmas
its probably time to get a unmarked comp
but maybe if you own a few restore points on ur comp u can restore your computer to its normal state
but if that doesn't work, your screwed!
Your monitor is going out.
Does it shift funny colors and stay, or go funny colors and after adjust to its normal appearance? If it's the latter, afterwards it's just degaussing and it's zilch to worry around. Most monitors do that when the monitor's off and it turns on upon a reboot or a boot.
If it's going funny colors and staying funny colors, the probability are that it's the monitor that is the problem and not the graphics card. It's terribly unlikely it's the card in certainty if it's a recent problem that turned up as you describe it. Chances are you'll need a foreign monitor, but you can buy a nice one used and get a polite number of years out of it if you ask someone in the store to back you find the best one for you in language of what you want.
hey there!
it is not a serious article there...no wories...permit me say that if ur blind card is a little bit out of the armour...it could be the reason why the colors turn funny and it look that way...it is trouble-free to check the monitor cable and see if it is attached right or it is a little bit out from the defence...if u checked it and days pass and nil happen..so ur problem is solved if it happen again...it means ur blind card need to go and get changed...i mean the one inside the armour...not the cable...it is so easy to find one that fits ur laptop and monitor...and charge nothing...so hope that help.

Hmmmmm...Yeah i understand your operating system may be Windows XP and in that you have get the memory problem with it you will inevitability to get some more Ram and rather a VGA card too as you told your computers age is 8 years and i think it's satisfactory for a computer.
Install Ram
And VGA Card
May fix this problem
Hello,
I've worked with computers for 25 years, and repaired things similar to monitors for a living for 33 years. In my experience, your graphics card wont do that. Monitors can do what you describe but it is usually programming telling it to do that. Of course it could be the card... your operating system should hand over you a method of testing the graphics card. Op Sys = Windows XP or one of those.
I believe you may own a virus on your machine explicitly affecting the monitor. Some are malicious close to that. No real sabotage, just aggravation. Do you enjoy virus scan software installed? I think Norton or one of those could find and remove such a virus.
I hope this help.
