Contact Dell at once and activate your warranty.

If it is still lower than warranty - call Dell
dell support comes next to a new dell call for them
Lucky you...sounds like a power supply problem. Contact Dell and they will hold it fixed since it is under Warranty. There is also a haphazard it could be the motherboard, but this is 99% of the time a power supply issue.
Try unplugging the power cord from the back and plugging it vertebrae in after a minute or so. If it powers on afterwards fine, if not...telephone call Dell. If it's brand new, it's still below warranty.
dell computers have more problems afterwards any others

Andrew,
The Advanced Troubleshooting guide is really helpful surrounded by figuring out what is wrong beside Dell computers. For your model, here is the link: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/sy... According to the Troubleshooting guide for your model, "If the power pale is blinking amber, the computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem might exist.
Ensure that the voltage screening switch is set to match the AC power at your location (if applicable)."
The voltage selector within the US usually is set to 115v. If the voltage selector is correct, I would try the previous suggestion of unplugging the computer, wait a few minutes, and plug it subsidise in.
If these suggestions do not work and you want to contact Dell, I would suggest using the Chat feature. It is much easier than calling, and you gain a transcript of the conversation at the end. Go to Dell.com and enter “chat near a technician” in the furrow box. Hope this helps!
