Have you clicked on the little squares in the upper right corner. One contained by Minimize and one is maximize and of course within is the red one that closes the screen.
Two things one travel to control panel and click on display from there you can transmutation resolution size. to your liking. Secondly you may own to adjust monitor settings, the bottons on the monitor, you may have to stretch it to fit if you own a little small black border around a pattern page and desktop.
