Some of the newer glorious resolution TVs do have a PC input and display computer output amazingly well. However, most TVs are merely good for roughly speaking 25 lines of 40 characters each. Any eyeshade display with more than that become unreadable. But why bother? With many relatives converting to LCD displays they are giving away their old CRT monitors. Typically $5 to $10 at a garage Dutch auction or thrift store.
