My power desk light newly blinks on my monitor beside nil on the peak. What could be wrong?

try pushing the monitor plug within at the back of your computer, if that don't work,
unequivocal up the computer case and thoughtfully press down on the video card (that is if you have a video card contained by the computer), and it is not integrated into the mother board,
is your computer booting up?
