Computer Monitor.....Analogue ???

I enjoy a new system. The monitor is LCD, and when I turn it on, it say....Analogue. Does this mean I hold not got a digital monitor ? What is the difference ?? Have I be ripped off ???

Most monitors own two plugs. One for Analog, and one for Digital. However, the manufactor only supplies the cheap cable (Analog).
your video card may not be gifted of outputting digital , and so its reverting back to analog so you will know how to see things on blind ..
