"Signal Freq out of Range" How can I bring my moniter to work again?

I enjoy a computer with an SLI video card (not aware of exact model) and I own a CRT (NEC Multi-Synch FE990)

Today when I tried to boot up, after the BIOS screen and window load, I seize a message saying "Signal Frequency is out of Range -
FH = 49.4
FV = 39.6"

I've tried starting contained by safe mode and my moniter displays in general, however I don't know what setting to change to fix my problem

I also own attempted a system restore with windows- hasn't worked.

Can anyone give a hand?

Answer:
Your monitor is claiming that you video card is sending a signal with a 40 Hz vertical re-acquaint yourself with rate.

Either your monitor is telling the truth and you video card is on the route out.

Or you monitor is confused and it is on the way out.

Try to borrow another monitor and see what happen.
In safe mode,right click anywhere on the desktop...turn to settings>advanced..In the options that you win here,reset the screen stimulate rate to the one compatible to your monitor..
there is an risk to display only compatible modes...select one..advisable between 60-72 hertz catalogue..

Should work..
