My Monitor Is broken....my bro said check the symbolic card...no results...how??

i took out the symbolic card and inserted back surrounded by ..but still no results...my monitor is working perfectly fine..but no results...my clear is a ATI radeon...been 2 years since i have it....it could'nt be broken right?? so whats wrong?? solution?? plz and ty...

Experienced that before. Black monitor merely the cursor appearing. That's basic input/output system (BIOS) problem. What you could do is to remove the memory card from the CPU and verbs the edge (chrome contact points) using a plain eraser, (for pencil) slowly.

Then reinstall. If monitor displays, increase your memory for page profile size. Do a complete disk error check, defrag and run compatibility hardware tests. It may also serve if you remove unnecessary programs and accessories within the Start Menu.
do you have on-board graphics? if so, use this till you return with a new card. if, then, do you capture anything to comeup at all the the monitor?. if no but you can hear the board and such start-up, clutch out your ethernet card, this has be a know issue of what you have going on. a bad card will engineer it seem your system will do nought. if this still doesn't work then return with a replacement card. ebay is a good place to win a very clad card at a good price or possibly first check with your local computer shop and see if they own any used cards...hope this helps and you can email if you requirement to...
