Widescreen or square?
Answer:
19" 4X3 is probably more than most people involve.
That's if you are using a normal desk / table and a wired grand piano. If you're going to a wireless keyboard, you might spend for something bigger.
The 4X3 blind ration has be the norm for a long time and most websites are set up that way. I doubt if trellis viewing will ever go to 16X9 so if broad screen costs substantially more and you're not intending to monitor a lot of TV of DVDs on it, I'd stick beside 4X3. If the cost differential is low or unimportant to you, return with wide eyeshade.
widescreen is best its the way our brain visualy see things
i would say a bigger peak is much better for your eyes but i personally regard for a computer anything over 19inch might b a bit to big and if cost is a problem try dell cos they have loads of great deal
I have a 17" widesreen on my laptop, but I catch sight of that some websites leave a roomy space on the right hand side of my peak, also i created my own website using this laptop, and iv had to conversion all page sizes within my editing due to others peoples pc, not have a good viewing experience, so it did construct my website a bit more user friendly, hope that helps, its not denial comments, ist only constructive, so it to some extent depends on how you wish to use the internet and and how your going to use your laptop.
19" Widescreen is ideal really, anything bigger and it's ridculous, anything smaller and you'll other be thinking, "I should've got the big one."
[Widescreen PC monitors are in fact 16:10 ratio, not the standard 16:9 ratio that TVs use.]
