Can I use this to hook up 2 monitors on one computer?
Answers:
Technically yes you could use this to connect two monitors, however it would send like peas in a pod signal to both so it wouldn't be much use unless you want both monitors to show the exact same thing. Spend the extra $30-$40 and carry a video card with dual outputs. If you've never installed a video card past you don't have to verbs it is actually fairly easy. Here is a short tutorial on how to do it http://www.basichardware.com/howto_insta...
You could, but by the time you spend the money, you could be portion of the way towards getting a hot video card with two video outs.
The card would present you more versatility in what you could do.
Yes you can. And it seem a good deal as it have a built-in amplifier. You can go for it.
Hello,
Yes, you could plug surrounded by two monitors into one single PC/MAC
all you want is a 2 port DVI Video Card, and 2 converters that usually comes with video card that converts your regular monitor plug (DB9) to DVI.
should you inevitability model number or specs let me know.
Best Regards.
Like the first post said you can use this for 2 monitors but a video card is better. In add-on this will only duplicate your video signal. In other words your 2 monitors will both show alike thing and you won't be capable of put different windows on different monitors or span both monitors for a widescreen effect. With a Video card you can do adjectives that I have mentioned and more. You can use 2 monitors surrounded by duplicate mode which is like what this device will do and you can use 2 montiors as 1 big/wide monitor which you can utilize respectively screen by themselves. So you can browse the pattern on one monitor and watch a DVD on the other at alike time if you want. Just letting you know that a new Video Card beside multi-monitor output would be better. Good Luck HTH.
to costly may a s well buy another tower
if you hold a video card that can do that you certainly can.
