How to capture internet nouns to a labtop.?

I enjoy a brand new compaq labtop. I want to receive internet connection but I enjoy no cords, plugs, or a cd ROM. Can I use my unmobile computer wires to do this or someone tell me adjectives the steps without the other computer.
*Note: my labtop is a Compaq C300

you enjoy to have the other comp. if you going wireless except the plug your Ethernet cable into the place where it fits and the other fall into a router/modem and the router plugs into the modem and the modem plugs into the phone jack using a standard phone cable from the routor to the modem you need a ethernet cable form the modem/router toe the laptop you want an ethernet BUT from the modem to the phone jack you need a phone cable.

As for connecting to the Internet, I'd check to see if your laptop has a built-in wireless card. Practically adjectives new laptops hold them as standard now.

That'll be your best bet.
